I think that the cars avoiding parking tickets on their own is kind of ridiculous. A little to iRobot for my tastes. Whether cars drive themselves or not I think taxis and buses will always be needed. I don't see a day when ALL driver input is removed so those out for drinks with friends or who just can't afford the gas and expenses of owning such a vehicle will still need taxis and buses.
